Lincoln won the Ellesmere Rugby Sub-union’s senior A grade competition which ended on Saturday. Lincoln was five points clear of the runneiMip, Prebbleton. Results were:—
Senior A grade: Prebbleton 25, Peninsula 9; Southbridge 28, Darfield 0; Lincoln 13, Leeston 8; Irweß 16, Burnham 14. Senior B-—Section A: Sheffield 13, Walhora 0; Dunsandel 26. United 6; Klrwee 11, Diamond Harbour 7. Section B: Lincoln 36, Prebbleton 4: Southbridge 19, Springston 10: Selwyn a bye. Under 19: Lincoln 16, Klrwee 7; Southbridge 16, Leeston 3; Peninsula beat Darfield by default; Bumham a bye. Under 16: Walhora 16, Southbridge 6; Irwell-Dunsandel 25. Bumham 0; Leeston 4, Darfield 0; Lincoln a bye. Under 13—Section A: Southbridge 25, Bumham 0; Peninsula 19, Sheffield 6. Section B: Irwefi 26, Dunsandel 4; Leeston 16, Waihora 12; Klrwee 12, Selwyn 3. Points in the senior championship were: Lincoln 23. Prebbleton 18, Southbridge 15. Leeston 14, Irweil 13, Burnham 12, Peninsula 9, Darfield 8.
