Young man killed

A man was killed when his car left the road and hit an oak tree on State Highway No. 1 in the Cheviot township about 4.45 a.m. yesterday. He was: Allan Richard McLean, aged 20, a farm worker, of Parnassus. Mr McLean was a nephew of the chairman of the Cheviot County Council (Mr D. G. Allan). The accident was discovered by a passing motorist. Mr McLean was the only occupant of the car. An inquest was opened before Mr L. M. Burnett, J.P., and adjourned sine die.
