Narcotics haul
Copenhagen police have seized 2801 b of morphine base and 5501 b of hashish in what they said was one of the biggest narcotics hauls in West Europe. The drugs were seized in a Copenhagen flat last night after police had arrested four Turkish men and a Turkish woman on Monday night. Police estimate the value of the drugs on the illegal market would be about 20 million kroner (SNZ2.6 million). —Copenhagen,July 20.
