RICCARTON CAMPAIGN
*'The Press’* Special Service CAMBRIDGE. The Cambridge trainer, P. R. Wilson, is now considering a trip to the Grand National meeting with Aku-Hoa, Sea Boots and Kin Kade. Usually track conditions at Riccarton in August are much better than on the northern circuit. Aku-Hoa’s form, after a promising start in the autumn, suffered as tracks deteriorated. Sea Boots, freshened since running fifth in the Great Northern Hurdles, is to resume over country at Paeroa on Saturday. He is a dashing jumper with speed on the flat and should be suited by Riccarton. Kin Kade. which for one of the few times in his jumping experience, was a casualty at Matamata, is none the worse for the fall.
