BUTCH PATRICK looks in on the colourful people of Lidsville in a new children’s series starting on Sunday afternoon. The inhabitants of Lidsville are all in the shape of hats. The bad hats are led by a wicked magician, Hoo Doo, who has all the good hats under his spell. The “Lidsville” series is about a young boy named Mark who finds himself marooned in Lidsville and teams up with Weenie the Genie and the good hats to find a way home. It is a variation on the Pufn’stuff theme, and is also created by Sid and Marty Krofft. Billie Hayes (Witchy Poo) now plays the part of the “goody,” Weenie the Genie, and Butch Patrick is Mark.
