Writ sought

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 21. An application for a writ against the Crown by a Whenuarangi land owner, in regard to the acquisition of land at Waiouru for defence purposes, was filed today in the Supreme Court. The writ is in the name of the Whenuarangi Land Company, Ltd, farmer and tourist promoter (first plaintiff), and Mrs Frances Koreneff, married, of Whenuarangi (second plaintiff). The Attorney-General, sued in respect of the Minister of i Works, is named as first defendant, and the Rangitikei I County Council as second defendant.
