Motor firm picketed
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. July 21. About 50 workers from Oxford Caravans, of Levin, which is being closed after the company’s sale to Anthony Motors by the New Zealand Motor Corporation, picketed the corporation’s headquarters in Wellington at midday. Representatives of the picketers, led by Mr F. B. Thorn, a member of the national executive of the Federation of Labour, where invited in for discussions with company representatives.
