Lincoln side missing 5

Lincoln College will be without five of its leading players when it plays Old Boys in the main Harewood Trophy Rugby match at Lan. caster Park this afternoon.

J. J. Ryan, D. A. Hales. R. J. Lockwood and P. J. Guscott will be in Auckland playing for New Zealand Univer. sities against the Grizzlies. P. A. Peacocke, the South Island first five-eighths, has a hamstring muscle injury in his left leg. In spite of these absences. Lincoln College should give a good account of itself in this game between two firstround winners, because of its great depth of strength. It has D. L. Munroe, D. W. Priest, and P. Quinn to help plug the gaps. Linwood, the favoured team in section one of the trophy competition, will be at full strength for its match against Suburbs at Rugby Park.
