EQUIPMENT IDENTIFIED

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 21. At least $9OOO worth of property, part of a $15,000 cache found when the police searched a house in Onehunga on Wednesday night, has been identified by its owners. Detective Sergeant R. Williams said today that dozens of persons had inspected the property, and all the golf and photographic equipment had been identified. The police search was made after the arrest of a man on Wednesday for stealing meat valued at 69c. Detectives now know that the sports goods including golf equipment, squash rackets, sports clothing, archery equipment and skating boots, were from one Auckland warehouse. The cameras, film and telescope came from a second warehouse. Some of the spare motor parts have been identified as being from a garage.
