OBITUARY Rev. E. H. Moody
The Rev. Edward H. Moody, general secretary of the Bible Society in New Zealand, died in Wellington on July 7. He was aged 64. Mr Moody was a Methodist missionary in China for 19 years until the early 1950 s when he took up parish work in the Midlands of England. He was then appointed a senior regional field secretary of the British and Foreign Bible Society. In 1964 he became general secretary of the society in New Zealand—a position he held for eight years. He was also vice-chairman of the general committee of the United Bible Societies. He is survived by his wife and two children.
