Improved Scimitar
Reliant Cars has announced power increases for its Scimitar GTE model as a result of fitting the latest version of the Ford 3-litre V 6 engine. There is little change in top speed, but flexibility is said to be considerably enhanced.
Scimitars are now outselling such cars at Lotus, AC, and Aston Martin. Current output is 40 cars a week, and the waiting list in Britain is 16 weeks. Limited numbers of Scimitars are available in New Zealand.
