Reporter for tour

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 18. Mr J. K. Brooks, of “The Press,” has been appointed by the New Zealand Press Association as its correspondent to report the tour of the All Blacks to Britain and France. Mr Brooks, Rugby correspondent for “The Press” for the last four years, was one of six nominations for the position made by member newspapers. The appointment was announced at a meeting of the association’s board of directors in Wellington. Mr Brooks, aged 38, has been a journalist for 19 years. Mr R. A. Palenski, of the N.Z.P.A. staff has been appointed to report the New Zealand tour by the Australian Rugby team which will begin on August 5.
