THE REV. H. I. HOPKINS, who has been appointed an honorary canon of the Christchurch CathedraL Since 1959, he has been chaplain to the Christchurch Prison, and before that was vicar of Addington for eight years. Canon Hopkins has also served in the parishes of Rangiora, Chatham Islands, Kensing-ton-Otipua, and Temuka.
