CAGE BIRD SHOW

The fortieth national cagebird show, organised by the Christchurch Canary and Cage Bird Club, will be held in the Horticultural Hall from Thursday, July 27, to Saturday, July 29. More than 2200 cage birds from all over New Zealand, will be on exhibition. The foreign section of 200 entries will include rare parakeets and finches, and many waxbills. The Federation of Cage Bird Clubs’ annual conference will be held in conjunction with the show, and will be attended by delegates from cage-bird clubs throughout New Zealand.
