Souvenir sales
Two Christchurch companies, Ballins Industries, Ltd, and Clarendon Hotel, Ltd, want to sell souvenirs in three hotel foyers. They will apply to the Shops and Offices Exemption Tribunal
this month for permission. Ballins Industries wishes to sell souvenirs in the Shirley Lodge Hotel and the Aranui Motor Lodge Hotel and the Clarendon Hotel, Ltd, wishes to sell in its hotel foyer. It is proposed to sell the souvenirs between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. The ground of the applications is that there is a general demand for the sale of souvenirs in hotels.
