N.Z. share market higher again
The New Zealand share market continued to rise in moderate!) acthe trading; yesterday. The leaders were firmer over all but a few marginal losses deli acted from the market tone.
New Zealand Motor Bodies continued to be well supported with another good rise. The shares were taken 10c higher to 135 c. In the annual report the chairman
(Mi G D. Stewart), announced that the company would begin to assemble Holden utilities at about this time, and expansion in other areas. Tasman Pulp and Paper continued to improve with a 10c rise to 310 c. The company is seeking debenture finance for expansion of its pulp and newsprint mill Alex Harvey. C.P.D.. nd Dunlop N.Z.. showed useful gains. Dominion Breweries stood >ut with a 4c rise to 125 c after the annual report in which higher profits were forecast. Wilson Neill was 4c higher at 195 c. New Zealand Petroleum jumped 8c to 98c on a sale of 100 shares in Wellington
