Cupola basin report

WELLINGTON, July 12.
A comprehensive report on the effects of animals, insects and climate on the vegetation and soils of the Cupola basin, in the Nelson Lakes National Park, is being prepared. The report was being made after a Forest Service programme which had lasted nine years and cost $27,000, said the Minister of Forests (Mr Maclntyre) today in reply to a question by Mr I. J. Brooks (Lab., Marlborough).
