GOLF It was very gratifying to find you taking up the cudgels on behalf of the many | thousands of golfers, and i other interested persons, in I your article on Friday. I must say that I agree with your i comments wholeheartedly. Interest in golf has never been 'higher world-wide and even lin New Zealand, golf ranks as among the top three spectator and player-interest sports. Apropos of this, I would like to ask you if you could inquire as to why the N.Z.B.C. has not shown the film “The Twenty Days of Lee Trevino.” I was priviledged to view this film during my travels and it certainly covered the remarkable feat of Lee Trevino in winning the Canadian, United States and British Opens all in the space of 20 days. It also gave a great insight into this most remarkable personality who has brought to golf some of the dash, colour and spectacle that Arnold Palmer has provided for so many years. —- TERRY G. DOWNEY.
