'The half-back, Rivelino, [lobbed the free kick into the [goalmouth and the hefty outside left rose above the I packed defence to smack the [ball into the net. [ The final, although produc[ing sparkling football by [both sides, was marked by imissed chances. Jugoslavia beat Argentina, [4-2, after leading 2-0 at half, time, to take the third place.
