Macaroni cheese
Another way of cooking macaroni cheese is as follows. For five to six servings you will need:— 1 cup uncooked macaroni 1 cup grated cheese 2 eggs 1 cup milk Salt Paprika Cayenne 1 teaspoon sweet basil { cup breadcrumbs Method: Cook macaroni in boiling salted water; drain well. Arrange alternate layers of macaroni and grated cheese in a but-
tered dish, reserving a little of the cheese for the top. Beat eggs with milk and season with | teaspoon salt, -} teaspoon paprika, a few grains of cayenne and the basil and pour this over the macaroni and cheese layers. Sprinkle top with the reserved cheese mixed with the breadcrumbs and a little paprika. Bake at 400 until it is well browned —25 to 30 minutes.
Spaghetti creole is probably not an authentic Italian recipe but it presents spaghetti in a slightly different way. For four you need: — 6oz spaghetti 1 onion loz butter
