Dairy price talks

(N.Z. Press Association)

WELLINGTON, July 2.

Members of the dairy section of Federated Farmers on Friday met the Minister of Overseas Trade (Mr Taiboys) to seek information on price aspects of the E.E.C. protocol on British entry to the Community. The section chairman (Mr J. D. O’Connor) said afterwards that Mr Taiboys had assured the delegation that a lot of work was being done and that he also appreciated it was a matter of vital concern.

Mr O’Connor said he was pleased at what he had been told the Government was working at. But he was still somewhat anxious as to the outcome.
