Westgate Bridge
Melbourne’s Westgate Bridge which collapsed during construction in October, 1970, killing 35 men, should be finished by April, 1974, the Victorian Minister of Local Government (Mr Alan Hunt) said today. So far, he said ss3m had been spent on the bridge, but he could not estimate what the final cost would be.—Melbourne, June 28.
