No change on trout
f.V Z Press Association! l WELLINGTON, June 30. The Government had no intention at present of rescinding its decision to permit trout farming, the Minister of Marine and Fisheries (Mr Gordon) said in Parliament today. Regard would be had. however, for the opinion of the Parliamentary committee which was considering petitions on the question. Mr Gordon said that should a trout farming licence be granted, conditions would be much more stringent than those for Acclimatisation Society breeding ponds.
