(N.Z. Press Association)

WELLINGTON, June 30.

The Government intended that the United States Air Force tracking station at Mount John, Lake Tekapo, should continue without interruption or disruption, said the Prime Minister (Mr Marshall) today. He was replying to a Parliamentary question from Mr R. L. G. Talbot (Nat., South Canterbury) who had asked if the Government would take all necessary action to enable the activities of the scientific base to continue after the lease expired on October 31.
