Isbey (Lab., Grey Lynn) whether he agreed spokesman for the National Party P.OX.-Link group that they were “disturbed by the emotional overreaetlon of some members of Parliament and other prominent persons to reeent demonstrations.” • The spokesman In question was Mr John Marshall, son of the Prime Minister. The statement was described by the Prime Minister as “a remarkably
trslßiwid and mature •tate* meut earning from a group of bright young men and women who are helping to keep the National Party in the vanguard of public opinion. “While some of the eriti. cisms made are a little severe, I am in general agreement with the group's positive and constructive views,” Mr Marshall said. Reply debate in which he bad smphatoied that the enforcement of existing laws—which were adequate —was a matter for the police and the courts. As Mr Marshall rose to answer the question, a member of the Opposition commented: “Dad is called to account.”
