Diplomat missing

The Soviet Union Embassy in Djakarta has asked for the help of the police in finding a Russian diplomat who has disappeared from the Embassy, taking important documents with him. The diplomat, Mr N. G. Petrov, aged 33, an attache, disappeared after a car accident outside the United States Embassy on Tuesday. He was taken into the American Embassy for medical treatment, and afterwards went home, but has since disappeared. A spokesman for the Soviet Union Embassy, Mr A. A. Abduchanov, has confinned Mr Petrov’s disapMr Abduchanov said that Mr Petrov was married, but his wife was in Moscow. The United States Embassy would make no comment on the case.
