A Christchurch team won the New Zealand teams of four championship at the Crockford’s Contract Bridge Club headquarters. Results were:— J. R. Wignail (captain), R. J. Brightling, F. P. S. Lu and R. Kerr (Christchurch). 1; B. C. Bell (captain), Mrs H. O. Taylor, R. Evans and N Hannay (Northland), 2; D. Green (captain). Mrs F Jones, J. Vertade. and H. Verdoner (Otago), 3.
