INQUIRY INTO AIR CRASH
(N.Z. Press Associatipni AUCKLAND, April 28. A Royal New Zealand Air Force court of inquiry today began an investigation into the crash of an Air Force Iroquois helicopter near Kaipara yesterday in which three men died. An Air Force spokesman said the inquiry might take anything from a few days to several weeks to complete. It was practice for any findings to remain confidential. The members of the court are: Wing Commander G. C. Wallingford (president), Squadron Leader R. J. Klitscher, Flight Lieutenant G. Hall, Squadron Leader R. Chippendale and the air safety officer of the Civil Aviation Division of the Ministry of Transport. They left for the scene of the crash, near a logging track in the State forest, about four miles from the tip of South Head, on the Kaipara Harbour, at 8.30 a.m. They spent all day picking through wreckage of the helicopter. FUNERAL SERVICES
The funeral service for Sergeant Malcolm Alexander Bell, aged 36, will be held at the Hobsonville Chapel at 10 a.m. on Monday. The funeral service for Flight Lieutenant Ross Nolan
Masters, aged 25, will be held at the Waiuku Presbyterian Church on Monday. The service for the third victim of the crash, Sergeant Anthony Kenmir Perkins, aged 25, will be held next week at the Wigram Air Force Base, in Christchurch.
