Comanchero will do his future racing in Australia. The three-year-old gelded son of Rlbotiight and Pawnee has been sold by his Riccarton owner-trainer, D. W. Wild, to Mr P. Gower, Townsville. Queensland. Comanchero. which cleared maiden class in the Courtenay Handicap on the first day. Of the CJ.C. autumn meeting then ran Coaster to a nose in the Harewood Handicap on the final day at Riccarton, will be shipped to Brisbane later this month. He will be trained there by K. Young. The sale was arranged by Mr D. B. Clarkson, bloodstock manager of Pyne, Gould, Guinness Ltd, Christchurch.
