DUTIES: The Chemist appointed to this position will be responsible to the Chemical Laboratory Supervisor for day to day analysis of raw materials and process products, using modem analytical methods. From time to time, the ’ Chemist will be required to provide chemical standards for callibration of optical emission of X-Ray equipment and develop new procedures as they become necessary. QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to applicants with a B.Sc. Degree or holders of the New Zealand Certificate of Science. Emphasis will be placed on analytical experience and a knowledge of atomic absorption and spectro-photometric techniques would be useful.
