Championship scratchings
(N.Z. Press Association) BRISBANE. Two leading New Zealand Inter-Dominion Championship candidates. Globe Bay and Arapaho, were scratched on Thursday from the series. No reason was given for their withdrawal in a telegram to the Albion Park Trotting Club. Globe Bay was the 6/1 second favourite in first markets on the IntenDcnnhflon Final, while Maland horse, Manaroa, retains favouritism for the raee at 8/1.
