Rangi-Ruru debutantes

Eleven debutantes were presented to Mrs T. R. Caldwell, president of the RangiRuru Old Girls’ Asosciation, at the annual debutante ball at the Winter Garden last evening. Five hundred guests attended the ball and guests were present from kindred associations. Debutantes, who were escorted by their fathers, were Mary Blair, Caryl Evans, Susan Gillanders (Greendale), Julie Harris, Christine Larcombe, Robyn Lawrie, Jenny Maskew, Prudence Mitchell, Michelle Petrie, Yvonne Sterritt, Claire Strack. The organising committee was: Mesdames T. R. Caldwell, K. W. Frampton, B. A. Turner, L. R. D. Scott, B. H. Cavell, J. Bradley, A. Jarmey, G. A. Dunbar, M. P. Jeffreys, C. E. Lee, Misses J. Hanna, R. Bascand.
