OBITUARY Mrs R. Kilgour

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. One of New Zealand’s oldest residents, Mrs Rane Kilgour, of Auckland, has died, aged 102. She was bom in Whangarei and spent much of her life in fanning districts in the Auckland province. Mrs Kilgour was the mother of 10 children, three of whom are known to be still living. There are about 50 great-grandchildren.

Tennis win.—The New Zeelander, R. Clark, has won the men’s singles title in the North of England tennis championships in Southport. Clark, the top seed, beat J. Howarth (Britain), 9-7, 6-2, in the final.
