Viet Cong invaded a Mekong Delta town, killed 28 persons and burned down a housing area for military dependants and a police compound, military sources said today. - Nine of the dead in the town of True Giang, about 40 miles south of Saigon, were civilians—three of them children. Another 29 persons were wounded. The guerrillas lost nine dead in yesterday’s raid in the town in Kien Hoa province. Partial damage to the town’s administrative headquarters was reported but it was not known how many people were left homeless by the housing area blaze.
