U.D.C. to float in Australia
fN.Z. Preu A»m.—Copyright) SYDNEY, March 22. The United Dominion Corporation, Ltd, will make an issue of 1,500,000 ordinary shares to the Australian public. The 50c shares will be offered at a premium of 60c each payable in full on application. The general manager of U.D.C. Tn Australia (Mr H. A. Tankard) said the Londonbased finance company had agreed to the release of 2m, 20 per cent of the holdings, in Australia. This conformed to the company’s policy of its international branches, he said. At present, 500,000 shares are held by Australian investors.
The new shares will rank for dividend from April 1, and the directors expect that U.D.C. will pay dividends at the rate of 12) per cent per annum on the increased capital.
