Oamaru side beaten
(N.Z. Press SYDNEY. The New Zealand Oamaru Old Boys did not have an auspicious start to their New South Wales tour, with a 42-12 defeat by the top Sydney club side, Eastern Suburbs, at WooUahra Oval yesterday. The Oamaru Old Boys are on a 12-day, three-match visit. Including a game against Batbunt. The tour is a return for a visit by Eastern Suburbs In 1968, and was financed by the players The Old Boys tried hard enough, but were completely outclassed by the opposition.
