EGG PULP EXPORTS
I.V.Z. Press Association)
WELLINGTON, March 7. The New Zealand housewife had “never had it so good” as far as eggs were concerned, said an official of the Poultry Board today.
Producers were in their annual prime production period and had an embarrassing situation with surplus eggs, he said.
Surplus eggs were being made into egg pulp, mainly for export.
“We are selling our pulp on the export market, not at any terrific price, but certainly at a much better return than we would get for dumping them.”
