An outdoor armchair for two

It you are all for Uv> tag outdoors you will be interested in the sort of furniture that makes things comfortable and pleasant. Lately we have been talking a lot about an excellent set of outdoor furniture that Is well within the capabilities of the handyman. The set has three pieces —a sunloafer, armchair and table.

Each has become very popular and now there is a fourth piece which will probably be as much in demand as the rest. It is a double armchair which is really a larger version of the single armchair. Both the single and double have been designed by our handyman adviser, Jim Barr, who says the two will hold their own in any company for comfort, appearance and wear.

The double armchair like the single is light, strong and easy to move. It is made of treated radiata and may be painted, varnished or oiled. It will take a lot of "punishment” from the younger brigade and will Stand up very well to the onslaught of the elements. This is very important. You know that you don’t have to drop everything and rush outside to bring in the furniture if it starts raining. The rain will simply run off this furniture. The sun will not damage it to any significant extent and it may be placed on lawns, concrete or any other kind of patio. The sun-loafer and armchairs will take padded cushions for people who are themselves not very well padded.
