(N.Z.P. A.'Reuter—Copyright) WINNIPEG. The Canadian heavy-weight boxer, G. Chuvalo, has withdrawn from a proposed fight in Vancouver against the former world champion, Mumammad Ali, on March 13. Chuvalo and Ali were to sign a contract in Vancouver on Tuesday for the 12-round fight, but the Canadian said: “There is no way I can fight for a month or more. I’m not going to Vancouver, and I’m not accepting a fight on March 13.” Chuvalo and his manager,’ Mr I. Ungerman. are keeping a bedside watch over the light-heavyweight S. Gray, who was seriously injured in Vancouver on Monday evening in the same programme in which Chuvalo knocked out the American, J. Christopher.
