Works clerks to meet
Canterbury freezing works clerks will meet this evening to consider a wage offer from their employers. Clerks at the Islington works banned overtime for the two days before the meeting, slightly restricting the operation of the killing chains and reducing production by perhaps a quarter of 1 per cent.
