Aust, wool sale
At the Goulbum wool sale today, prices for fine fleece were firm compared with those at the close of the Newcastle sale last week, but medium and coarser qualities, and skirting, were 3c cheaper, and carding wools, 5c cheaper. The competition was dominated by Japan and the Continent, with support from Eastern Europe and the United Kingdom.—Goulbum, Feb. 22.
