Girl struck by car
An eight-year-old girl suffered head injuries when she was struck by a car at the intersection of Carlton Mill Road and Exeter Street, Merivale, about 5 p.m. yesterday. She is Helen K*te Mcßride, of 19 Gloucester Street.
She was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital, where her condition was reported last evening as satisfactory. Her injuries were described as not serious.
