Australian appeal

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY. The Australian Prime Minister (Mr McMahon) has launched an appeal to raise $400,000 to send Australia’s team to the Olympic Games in Munich in August.

Mr McMahon announced a Federal Government contribution of $BO,OOO, an increase of $20,000 over its grant for the 1964 and 1968 Olympics.

He appealed for contributions from companies, associations, trade unions, and individuals towards the expenses of the 200-mem-ber team of competitors and officials.
