Funny Way not running
"The Press’* Special Service DUNEDIN. Funny Way, an Impressive winner of the sprint on the first day of the Dunedin Jockey Club’s autumn meeting, is to miss his engagement in the Autumn Handicap at Wingatui on Saturday. His trainer, J. R. Dowling, said that he did not wish to give the Empire Way gelding too much in the early stages of his campaign and that he would be reserved for the Cromwell meetIng on Saturday week.
