New role for Finch
The actor, Peter Finch, will play the lead in the film version of “Lost Horizon,” a novel by James Hilton. Finch wslbplay the role of an English diplomat brought to Shangrila to succeed the dying high lama. The part was played by Ronald Colman in the 1938 film adaptation of the book. It will be the first appearance in a film musical by Finch.—Hollywood, February 21.
