Boy cyclist injured

NELSON. February 22.
A cyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a car at 8.30 a.m. today at the comer of Polstead Road and Main Road, Stoke.
The boy. Peter Robert Frederick Gitting, aged nine, of Stoke, was flung through the windscreen of the car. The car was driven by Mrs L. E. Wilson, a teacher, of Tahunanui.
The boy was admitted to Nelson Hospital for urgent surgery.
