BRITONS NOT HOPEFUL

British swimmers have little chance of being among the medal-winners in the Olympic Games in Munich, according to Mr Norman Sarsfield, secretary of the British Amateur Swimming Association. Only 10 days before British swimmers begin their campaign for Olympic selection, Mr Sarsfield said: “We shall be very fortunate indeed if we get a medal winner in Munich, when you take into account the strength of the East German, Australian and American teams.”
