D. P. Sorenson, T. J. Nunns and P. F. Rogers batted the New Zealand softball team to its twenty-fourth successive victory yesterday. Sorenson hit two home runs. Nunns and Rogers one each, for the Kiwis to beat Eastern Transvaal, 6-0. C. A. Ward also hit a home run but his was assisted by errors.

Pitching for New Zealand, J. D. Dawson vOok 16 strikeouts and allowed two walks and only one hit Other safe hitters for New Zealand were B. McLean and D. R. Chyne.

The New Zealanders will play their last game of the South African portion of the tour in Pretoria today before leaving for Hong Kong and the Philippines. The world championships begin in Manila next week.
