NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT RAILWAYS CONTRACT FOR THE DELIVERY OF GOODS BETWEEN BALCLUTHA AND TAHAKOPA. TENDERS will be received at the office of the General Manager, New Zealand Railways, Private Bag, Wellington, up to 4 p.m. on Wednesday. March 8, 1972, for the performance of the above work for a period of 12 months from and including April 1. 1972. The service contemplated by the contract is to be from Balclutha to Tahakopa (or Tahakopa to Balclutha) with no objection to a privately operated Service beyond Tahakopa in conjunction with the Bal-clutha-Tahakopa service.
