HONORARY DEGREE
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Feb. 22. Sir John Ormond, the retiring chairman of the Meat Board, will receive an honorary doctor of science degree from Massey University, in late March. The award is in recognition of Sir John Ormond’s association with the meat industry, and to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the Meat Board. The ceremony will be part of the 1972 Massey memorial lecture, which commemorates a former Prime Minister, Mr William Massey, after whom the university is named.
